SALVADÓ ALEXANDRE

Salvadó Alexandre is a family winery located in Verdú, within the DO Costers del Segre, driven by Jordi Salvadó and Elisabet Alexandre. The project was born from a house linked to the vineyard and a family where, years ago, wine had been made for their own consumption. Over time, that custom had been left behind, until Jordi discovered this family past and became interested in recovering that way of making wine at home.

From here, the project grew progressively, combining the knowledge transmitted by Elisabet's godfather and father, closely linked to working in the fields and vineyards, with Jordi's concern for learning and improving year after year. From this combination, a unique way of understanding wine was born: close, demanding and deeply linked to the territory.

The winery produces small-production wines, cared for from the vineyard to the bottle, with the desire to reflect the territory, the interior climate of Verdú and the family essence of the project. At 434 meters above sea level, it works with varieties such as Macabeo, Chardonnay, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, shaping honest, precise wines with a Mediterranean character.
