Gran Reserva

The term gran reserva refers to the following ageing process:

For red wines a period of time in the oak barrel of at least twenty-four months is necessary and an ageing period in the bottle of at least thirty-six months.

For white and rosé wines the duration of this process should not be less than forty-eight months, at least, with an ageing period in an oak barrel of at least six months and an ageing period of forty-two months in the bottle.
